What We Offer

archwayAt Simpatico, you’ll find a wide range of offerings to fit your fitness goals. With 1500 feet of space at our studio, we have 6 reformers, 5 towers, Wunda chair, the Cadillac, and an original GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® , along with floor space for Cardio Core and Balance classes, and other body movement workshops and special lectures. Simpatico’s extensive equipment selection provides for easy scheduling for all types of instruction.

Pilates Options:

Pilates on Reformer, Cadillac, and Tower equipment:

  • Private sessions – A one-hour private session gives you the ability to work one on one with a trainer. On any given day, your session will be tailored to your body’s physical needs and capabilities. Private sessions are recommended for all levels. They are great for beginners so that one learns the correct movement and alignment before jumping into mat classes or group classes. Private sessions are also good for people who have been practicing for decades and want to enhance their abilities and challenge themselves in a safe, instructed setting.
  • Duets – (limited to 2 people) This one-hour session is a good choice for spouses, friends, and parent/child teams who want to learn and exercise together. These sessions flow smoothly when the duet team has compatible skills. Duet clients do receive more personal attention than class clients.
  • Group Classes -(limit to 6 people) Group classes are designed for intermediate to advanced clients and provide a flexible and fun way to get the benefits of the Pilates equipment and professional instruction at a cost effective price.

Group Classes by Equipment Type:

Tower Class

A Tower Class, (limit 6) incorporates the use of the wall unit (apparatus) along several private, semi-private or mat classes and is familiar with Pilates movement and terminology. By utilizing the wall unit, you will stretch your muscles while strengthening your core – Be prepared for a challenging workout!

Reformer Class

A Reformer Class, (limit 6 people), is performed on the traditional Pilates Reformers, this class offers a full body workout, lengthening muscles while toning. This class is recommended for clients who have taken several private, semi private or mat classes and are familiar with Pilates movement and terminology.

Mat Pilates Group Classes

Pilates Mat work is at the center of all Pilates programs. Exercises are performed on the floor/mat, often with the use of other props for an additional challenge. This is a great class for all levels.

Buff Bones® 

Buff Bones® is a medically-endorsed system of movement for bone and joint health. It leverages bone-strengthening and balance techniques along with Pilates, functional movement, strength training and therapeutic exercise. Toning your arms, hips, back and abs, the Buff Bones® system also improves posture, is adaptable to varying levels, and is even safe for those with osteoporosis.

Jumpboard

The use of a jumpboard takes your Reformer workout to another level. By incorporating the jumpboard choreography you receive a more intense cardiovascular workout and challenge different muscle groups. Focusing on glutes, quads and lower abs. This is a great way to add an extra oomph to your weekly workout regime.

GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® Private Sessions

GYROTONIC® is an exercise system that uses the body to go beyond its limitations. GYROTONIC® exercises increase the functional capacity of the entire organism in a harmonious way. The benefits are:

  • Increases the circulation through aerobic and cardiovascular stimulation, circulation of blood, the lymphatic liquids and circulation of energy.

Cardio Core & Balance Group Classes

This is an amazing fusion class that incorporates yoga, Pilates, dance, martial arts and barefoot conditioning. It is a balanced full body workout that trains the entire system using strength, endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, agility, balance and flexibility.
